Tree shape is cut out of hand rolled porcelain clay and then embossed with the swirl design. The ornamment is then bisque fired for about 12 hours. A green glaze is then applied to the front of the ornament and it is fired agin at a higher temperaute. The back of the ornamnet is not glazed and has a linen like finish. A personal message may be added with afine point Sharpie. .A red hemp string is attached through the hole at the top of the tree. These are made to order so each is unique and there will be some variation in the design.
